To support our continued growth, we are looking for an IT & Software Support Engineer who will act as the internal point of contact for all ICT-related questions and issues, while also providing first-line support to external users of our in-house software tools.
Your responsibilities are:
Internal IT Support
Listening to, analyzing, and interpreting issues in order to quickly provide an appropriate solution
Managing and maintaining the computer network, including laptops and other devices
Managing databases and software packages
Ordering and following up on ICT equipment
Maintaining and optimizing the computer network
Installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software
Documenting incidents and solutions to keep the internal knowledge base up to date
Liaising with external IT suppliers when necessary
First-Line Software Support
Registering, analyzing, and following up on customer support tickets
Answering questions related to the use of our software
Reproducing, documenting, and—where necessary—escalating issues to second-line development support
Contributing ideas for improvements and expanding FAQs
Assisting with testing new releases or updates
What do we expect from you?
We are looking for a motivated colleague who can work both independently and as part of a team, and who has a genuine passion for technology and problem-solving.
A Bachelor’s degree in network management, computer science, or equivalent experience
A team player with a proactive mindset
A strong service-oriented attitude
Up to date with the latest ICT developments and interested in technological trends
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Accurate, flexible, and able to set priorities effectively
Knowledge of networking technologies, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365
Language skills:
Dutch: very good (oral and written)
English: very good (oral and written)
